Ancient History and Your Lifestyle today


Good morning teacher and my friends. My name is Nurhayatee Haya. My major is English. Today, I would like to talk about Ancient History and Your Lifestyle today. What do you thing about ancient humans?
           Stone Age in Thailand a period that lasted roughly 2,000,000 – 8,000 years ago. The Stone Age had many amazing such as technology and lifestyle. In Stone Age people could live about more than 50 years old. In the Stone Age Technology was very amazing because they lived in the cave and in the forest the tool for finding the food and hunting the animal makes from stone. And tools their can make tool with stone and wood. They can make tool by themselves.

The Bronze Age, a period that lasted roughly five thousand years ago. The amazing of The Bronze Age is major advances in social, economic, and technological advances that made Greece the hub of activity in the Mediterranean. In Stone Age people could live about more than 60 years old. In the Bronze Age Technology was very amazing because The Bronze Age was a time of heavy use of metals and of developing trade networks. And people can used bronze for making bronze tools and jewelry such as a bracelet, spear, ax head , bracelet, anklet ,etc.

The Iron Age a period that lasted roughly 5,000 – 9,000 years ago in Rome and that lasted roughly 3,000 – 5,000 years ago in Thailand the period generally occurring after the Bronze Age, marked by the prevalent use of iron. The early period of the age is characterized by the widespread use of iron or steel. Iron Age have many technology are knives, spears and sword. The lifestyle of people in the Iron Age they have home, family. They wear cotton  fabric. Importantly they really like to use machines for convenience for the life.

In think I am very lucky to live in the Digital Age and not the Stone Age, The Bronze Age and The Iron Age. These three Ages have many different such as technology and lifestyle. I think that difficult to my lifestyle but it can make people to learn about that and it is knowledge for people in the future Thanks for your attention.

The problem of cutting down the tree

The problem of cutting down the tree has many problem If we would cut trees what is going to happen is that population won't stop growing but oxygen in the atmosphere will reduce. Another effect can be scarcity of food. and many other problems are attached to it such as less of rains will result in less water for irrigation. And When we cut down trees, we are taking a home away from animals, cause flooding ,and destroy the fresh air. So we cannot do that destruction of life and nature to conserve forever.

The solution of cutting down the tree

The solution of cutting down the tree.Everybody can solve together such as the first we can planting replacement trees, it can to compensate the trees. The second we awareness about the importance of forests together for everybody to know about that. The third we promote reforestation and watershed improvement. And the last we help conserve natural forest watershed. All this we can do for destruction of life and nature to conserve forever.

How to Write an Essay



There are many ways to write an essay. However, the standard essay form follows the same basic patterns as discussed in this 'how to'.
Here's How:
1. Select the topic of your essay.
2. Choose the central idea, or thesis, of your essay. For example: Information technology has revolutionized the way we work.
3. Outline your essay into introductory, body and summary paragraphs.
4. The introductory paragraph begins with an interesting sentence. For example: Home workers have grown from 150,000 to over 12 million in the past 5 years thanks to the wonders of the computer.
5. After this first sentence, add your thesis statement from above.
6. Use one sentence to introduce every body paragraph to follow. For example: The Internet has made this possible by extending the office into the home.
7. Finish the introductory paragraph with a short summary or goal statement. For example: Technological innovation has thus made the traditional workplace obsolete.
8. In each of the body paragraphs (usually two or three) the ideas first presented in the introductory paragraph are developed.
9. Develop your body paragraphs by giving detailed information and examples. For example: When the Internet was first introduced it was used primarily by scientists, now it is common in every classroom.
10. Body paragraphs should develop the central idea and finish with a summary of that idea. There should be at least two examples or facts in each body paragraph to support the central idea.
11. The summary paragraph summarizes your essay and is often a reverse of the introductory paragraph.
12. Begin the summary paragraph by quickly restating the principal ideas of your body paragraphs. For example: The Internet in the home, benefits and ease of use of modern computer systems...
13. The penultimate sentence should restate your basic thesis of the essay. For example: We have now passed from the industrial revolution to the information revolution.
14. Your final statement can be a future prediction based on what you have shown in the essay. For example: The next step: The complete disappearance of the workplace.
Tips:
1. Use strong verbs and avoid modals to state your opinion. It is better to write: The workplace has evolved than The workplace seems to have evolved
2. Do not apologize for what you are saying. An essay is about your opinion.
3. Do not translate from your mother tongue. It will quickly get you into trouble!

MY OPINION
If our writings are developed, it is a good sign that tells our language is developed, too. We should spend our time to practice to write whatever we are interested. Each paragraph of our writing is very important. We should try to write because it is the best way to develop our writing.

Life would be Better without Mobile Phones


Nowadays, the communication between various people in our world is unlimited. There are many modern technologies that make us more comfortable. Mobile phone is the one of those technologies which some people think that it is very necessary and all people can’t live without it. In fact, Mobile phone is very harmful and it has several bad points if we cannot avoid it. As the result, our lives without using mobile phones will be better. This essay will consider arguments for having mobile phones and lead to some main bad effects if we still use it.
As you can see in several advertisements, there are many agencies that try to promote their mobile phones to us. Those products are interesting and can load customers to buy them easily. They will present about new applications, programs, and styles that can persuade us. In contrast, mobile phones with many applications will be expensive. Phone producers will change their phone style a little and promote them again. When we see them, we will think that they are new and we will buy them. Especially, most teenagers will use mobile phones largely. They often change their phones for up-to-dating although they receive all money from their parents. It is a main problem that will make them wasteful. Moreover, the price of downloading various applications is more expensive. Modern phones can upload several programs such as songs, games, themes, videos, etc. All functions are very expensive for example, downloading a song, we must spend at least 35 baht. Also, the charge of calling is expensive, too. Although, there are various promotions, each one will take our money much. Therefore, mobile phone likes electronic materials that hold our money.
Mobile phones make our lives comfortable and easy to communicate with other people. However, it is a cause of diseases that can make us unhealthy. Dr. SakkaNatakuathung has reported that if we using phone for a long time, we will have a headache and Alzheimer's disease.There is microwave which is used for receiving and sending mobile phone signal. If we receive it a lot, it is very dangerous. Furthermore, using mobile phones for a long time is a cause of earache. We have to hear loud noise during we talk on phone and we will be disturbed. Too, according to Swedish research which is published on International Archives of Occupational and Environmental Health Journal, people who use mobile phone about an hour per day in ten years will be brain tumor. Besides, there is an American researcher, Dr. George Carlo,he states that using mobile phone is a cause of cancers. They are violent diseases that are difficult to treat. So, if we can stop using mobile phones, our lives will be healthy.
In conclusion, each technology has some effects for users. Living with mobile phones does not bring the happiness to us. There are many disadvantages if we use them. Intelligent customers have to be careful and consider how to buy a good thing. Mobile phone is not necessary in our lives. Our lives would be better if we don’t use mobile phones.

Learning Log 6

Today is the sixth week, today  I very excite because my course syllabus don’t finish. But today  teacher don’t check course syllabus . And  teacher suggests 2 topics for example, observe and lesson plan 
The first is observe, teacher tells about the topic that interest you and that could be the basic of an action research project during your teaching practice in the semester. And then he suggest what we can to do many thing for this observe such as audio- or video-record a lesson, write accounts of lesson, teaching journal, case report, teaching portfolio, critical incidents, action research, and student teacher support group. The all thing, I  must to do and I can to learn from this observe.
The second is lesson plan, teacher suggests many thing how we can write about course syllabus and how we can write your lesson plan. For suggestion’s teacher I can write and I can improve my lesson plan correctly. Writing lesson plan have many process and I very confused. But I must try try and try to write lesson plan correctly.

                          Games for Teaching English Writing





Writing True/False Statements The first time this activity is carried out it is the teacher who needs to write. The second time the students can do the writing themselves. Write statements on the board - some true, some not. Some can be ridiculous, especially if you are teaching children. Some can be obvious, although with more advanced groups it's a good idea to include statements that require some thinking about, to increase interest in the activity.
Some example sentences could be: "Polar bears live at the South Pole," "Hamlet was written by Dickens," "Dogs always cook cats." Anything you want that suits the age and level of the class. Students must comment orally first, then in writing, about the sentences. For example: "Dogs never cook cats. They chase them," etc. Once the students understand, they can write their own statements, and respond in writing to those of other students.
Dictationcan become a game-like activity when practiced in a variety of ways, and when interesting material is used. There are many types of dictation, and it's important to vary the way it's done. Here are two that students often enjoy.
Running dictations are when pieces of text are stuck to the classroom walls, and teams (divided into runners and readers, and writers, who must remain by the board to write what the others on their team tell them. It's a good to give different students the role of writer a few times. The teams must copy the writing on the wall accurately.
CD dictation can also be fun. Draw the controls of a CD player on the board. Stop, Play and Go Back are enough. Explain to the students that they can control what you say by giving the above commands to you. Then read a short piece of text you have written or carefully chosen for the level of the students.
Read at a natural speed. The students must tell you to stop and go back etc, so they have time to write what you say. They can ask you how to spell the word, but nothing else. When the students are used to the activity they can complete the final sentence for themselves.
Consequencesis an old game, and is best for intermediate students. All students have a piece of paper. They all must write a name. The first name must be male for all, or female for all students. A famous person is best. Students then fold back the paper, hiding the name, and pass their paper to the next student (who should not look).
Then the students write 'met' followed by a female name (if the first name was male), then they fold the paper again, and pass it on to the next student. Next they must write a location, what they said, and last, 'The consequence was...'.
Then the papers are unfolded and read aloud. You may have, "Barack Obama met Hello Kitty in the pub. He said 'I love hamburgers.' She said 'What day is it?' The consequence was that they drove to Alaska." A little crazy, but this is generally part of the fun.

MY OPINION
There are many ways to develop students’ writing skill. Game is a good method that can help them to practice their writing happily. Good teachers have to find exciting games to teach them in many sources. They will study both content and interpersonal skill.

Reading to Speak: Integrating Oral Communication Skills

At the present, transportation business is developing continuously. There are many vehicles that are built to serve comfort to us. Car is the one of vehicles that is very popular and there are many people use it. Do you know the effects of using car? What’s happened if most people use cars? There are many reasons why cars should be banned.
Firstly, do you know our world is confronting with global warming and climate change? And the main causes of this problem are humans’ activities. Car is a major cause of air pollution that is difficult to solve. Because of burning gasoline will make toxin smoke that is very dangerous for our healthy and will be a cause of many diseases. Especially, in the town where consists of several tall buildings and narrow space which often holds air pollution and can’t drain. Most people in the city are ill because of the air pollution from using cars.
Secondly, car is a reason of traffic jam. When there are many cars on the road, they can’t go rapidly. Furthermore, we have to stop near the intersection for a long time. It is a waste of time because we have to use much time in our vehicles. Moreover, traffic jam can make us be bored and stress.
Thirdly, there are many accidents that are happened with cars. Because of we can drive it at high speed, we won’t realize about safety. All situations will bring lost both body and mental.
Fourthly, the price of cars is important for drivers. Several car producers will make new cars continuously and they will be very expensive. If there is no money to buy, we may take on loan. It will increase our financial burden. Moreover, if we can’t spend money for them, the company will confiscate our car, too.
Fifthly, the petroleum is the important power for cars but it is more expensive. We have to spend much money to buy diesel oil for our cars. Further, all petroleum can’t reuse, too. It may deplete from our world.
Finally, it is a problem if we use cars in the town because there won’t be a large space to park them. Furthermore, it is a cause of traffic jam if we park them in unsuitable places.
There are many effects that are happened when we use cars. We should realize the importance of protection our world, energy and ourselves, saving our money, solving traffic problem. Therefore, cars should be banned.



Reading to Speak: Integrating Oral Communication Skills
               It is to present a primary motivation to learn English language in several ways and be able to converse with speakers in English languages. Teachers are the writer’s audience. There are some evidences that support this topic. For example, The teacher should provide chances for oral interaction, as most of the teachers talk on and on throughout the lesson without giving students any opportunity to speak, thus turning the class into a listening exercise. The teacher can use integration of speaking and reading activities in both intensive and extensive reading classes. Students are encouraged to use their imaginations and make any changes to the plot and dialogues in their performance. The activity is organized according to the steps outlined below.
MY OPINION
I agree with this journal because integrated speaking approach which is added to reading and writing lessons to ensure that students receive essential practice in oral communication is a good way to develop speaking skill.
